It All Started When I Moved To The Caribbean


Last November, I packed my bags in freezing-cold Canada and flew over 2,000 miles to start a brand new life in sunny Grenada with my fiancé, Adam.


Now, relocating to another country is stressful enough… What with packing, paperwork, visas, new phone numbers, and customs…


But to add to the challenge, we moved onto a boat! 


Talk about unfamiliar territory 😂


Every waking minute we were either balancing our newly remote careers or dealing with a critically important boat maintenance job.


As a result, the long and non-stop days meant I had almost no time for fitness


But even if I did have time to train… There wasn’t a gym in sight! 


So I was forced to put my fitness on the backburner.


And before long, I could feel the lack of training taking its toll on my body.

Part of me was tempted to think –

But another part of me was crushed by the fact the body I’d worked so hard for my whole life was gradually slipping away from me.

So one VERY sweaty afternoon, I put together a quick workout together using nothing but bodyweight exercises and some bands I’d packed in my suitcase. 


Usually I’d train with a variety of equipment, plenty of space, and as much time as I needed.


But now I had hardly any equipment (literally, only bands)...


And even less space to move.


Plus, my workout needed to be finished in a maximum of 30 minutes so there was little disruption to my day. 


Sure, this wasn’t my “normal” way of training… 


But I was frustrated doing nothing, feeling constantly bloated, and feeling the stress build from not being able to move.


So I either did this style of workout… Or nothing at all!

After my first workout… I was GASSED 🥵


I worked my glutes and abs HARD…


I sweat just as much, if not more, than after the workouts I performed as a national-level athlete…


And the flood of endorphins made me feel so powerful! 


Even though I’d previously only used bands and bodyweight exercises as ‘filler’ workouts when traveling…

I am a beginner - is this challenge right for me?

This challenge is open to people of all levels, experiences and capabilities! As your head coach, I will always offer modifications for challenging movements, and am there to encourage you and push you forward with each workout.

We also have our exclusive Facebook group where you can ask questions, request modifications, and brag about your workout wins!

How long are the workouts?

Every workout in this challenge is less than 30 minutes long, to make sure you can fit it into your busy day. Each video is follow along, from start to finish and includes a 5 minute warm up within it. I've also added music tracks to each workout, so you don't even have to worry about spending time finding your favourite playlist! Literally press play and be done in 30 minutes or less.
