My Comeback to getting LEAN, ENERGIZED & SHREDDED
Summer had just started, so in an effort to change things up, I took my training outside.
I added in sprints and plyometrics, and even found a set of stairs to play around on!
I cut down my workouts from 6 days a week to 4, which gave my body (and my mind) enough time to rest and recover.
The result?
Not only did I start shedding the extra fluff and bulk I had gained from constantly weight lifting...

Beverley is a fitness and lifestyle entrepreneur living full-time on a sailboat. After playing high level rugby for several years, she retired her cleats in 2013 and started a fitness blog. What began as a small website and a few workout videos (filmed on a grainy iPhone 4), soon transitioned into a full time career, encompassing several different brands and services.
Over the course of her business, she has helped thousands of women transform their bodies and their minds, using the power of sweat. Beverley believes that exercise is the first step to living your most confident and fulfilled life, and it is her mission to spread this message to as many people as possible.

Sara has been athletic from a very young age. Trying out a variety of different sports as a child, she quickly became passionate about dance and began training competitively 5-6x per week from the age of 8. She now dances professionally while coaching clients from diverse backgrounds and all fitness levels.
Sara is passionate about all things nutrition. She is a certified sports nutrition specialist and loves to educate women through her coaching. She believes that food and exercise can transform our lives and wants to inspire as many women as possible to harness the power of nutrition and training to become the best version of themselves!
What equipment do I need?
Only minimal equipment is required for the Elite Summer Shred Challenge! However, because this is a challenge that incorporates outdoor workouts, you will need access to a couple additional items (noted below):
✓ Dumbbells (the more the merrier)
✓ Booty Bands
✓ Long Resistance Band
✓ Yoga Mat
✓ Bench / Box / Low Table (anything to stand on)
✓ A field to sprint on
✓ A set of stairs to run on
I am a beginner - is this challenge right for me?
This challenge is open to people of all levels, experiences and capabilities! As your coach, I will always offer modifications for challenging movements, and am there to encourage you and push you forward with each workout.
We also have our exclusive Facebook group where you can ask questions, request modifications, and brag about your workout wins!
What if I don't have access to a set of stairs?
Many members have completed the Elite Summer Shred without a set of stairs. My recommendation is to repeat the previous weeks Power or Sprint workout, or if you have access to one, combining the Stairmaster with the programmed glute exercises.
Don't give up on your search for stairs though! You'd be surprised at how many there are around your city (I suggest searching your neighbourhood for stadiums, arenas, or parks).
What if I can't tune into the live sessions?
If you aren't able to make a live video, no need to panic! All videos will be saved on our Facebook group and emailed out to you at the end of the week.
How long are the workouts?
The workouts will range from 30-50 minutes long including the warm up and cool down. For the sprint & plyometric workouts, there will be about a 15 minute warm up, and the workout itself will be less than 30 minutes.
